"Eye" Wood....

"Eye wood"  love to show you some of the wooden objects scattered around our yard and garden as I observed them this morning....

There's something about the sight of old wood that calms me down.  Settles me.  Soothes me.
(I'm sure it doesn't do that for everyone.)
How about you?  Do you have old wood in your garden scheme?

  2. What a great idea for a collection posting. We have wood fences, a picnic table now, cold frames and two gates I haven't found a new life for yet.

  3. You have lots of beautiful old wood! I am surrounded by woods, the natural kind :-) I dont seem to have as much old wood in my garden but my little picket fence is my favorite.

  4. We have a decorative wagon wheel by our front porch and our back porch is surrounded with lattice-work. I love lattice, it looks great and is good for privacy. Love your garden and the nature sounds you put with the blog.

  5. Your wood is all so nice. I think that last 'birdhouse' is most neat! I love wood in the garden.

  6. I do have some very old birdhouses I bought at a garage sale once. Wish I had more like you have in yours. Just makes perfectly vintage garden decor. Love the textures.
