A Mini-Grove

My husband has spent many hours cleaning out his work space in our garage.  He came across a lot of scrap wood and put together some really interesting Yard Art for me!

These were made out of some cabinet doors (samples) that he'd picked up somewhere (free, of course).  After dismantling them and creating chalkboards from the middle parts of them, he had these narrow strips left over.

This is what we came up with!

Once the ground thaws, I'm going to "plant" a mini-grove
in one of our flower beds!
I'm kind of excited.

  1. Hi Rebecca, I'm so sorry I don't get over to visit you more often. I'm SO behind on blog reading. Thank you for commenting on my blog.

It looks like it's still winter in your neck of the woods. I love the yard art your hubby made. These are going to look so cool in the garden. Now spring, just hurry up. :) Cheers.

  2. Rebecca, thanks for stopping by My Corner of Katy! I hope spring arrives for you soon so you can plant those trees! That's a pretty cool idea ... I might try making one from some of my scraps in the garage!
