We were about the only thing happening
at the Allen County Extension Display Garden this afternoon.
The daffodils looked lonely.
I guess the Master Gardeners who tend this interesting space
are still in hibernation mode.
Still, I'm glad we took advantage of the mild weather
to establish a sort of baseline from which to guage
and enjoy the progress of the season.
It's a blank canvas, (almost). Just think of the beauty to come!
ReplyDeleteOh, believe me! I AM (thinking of the beauty to come)! ♥
DeleteI hope all the other green sprouts aren't weeds!
ReplyDeletePerhaps the master gardeners are tackling their own gardens first. These days are still too short to get everything you need done :)
I thought of that, too (tackling their own gardens first). The weather is a bit back and forth. On the good days, one gets a little anxious. I should have known not much would be "happening". But - not being a Master Gardener myself - I DO tend to take my cues from what's going on in the Extension Gardens. Just saying...
DeleteIt's reassuring to see other gardens looking a bit neglected like my own.
ReplyDeleteAnd THIS is a public garden - though maintained by individuals who are busy working (or neglecting) their own.... :)
