All Good Things Must Come to an End

Alas!  She was more ambitious than I!
Sadly, we couldn't "let it be".
(Shhhhhhh.  Don't judge me.)
All good things must come to an end.
If only Spring could make up her mind,
I'd be cleaning out flower beds as I should.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

  2. A year ago in Spring we had a persistent Sparrow who started building a nest in the bottom of our birdfeeder with the wire cage around it to keep out squirrels and large birds like grackels and bluejays. We would take out the dried grass, he would start loading it in. A little mistress sparrow almost completely ignored him. She just wanted to eat which is probably why the mister kept trying to build it again and fighting away all the other birds. He saw available food and was going to claim it. He finally gave up and talked the little mistress into getting into one of several birdhouses we had around the yard.
