Small Chores

Trimming the dried hosta stems is a joy with this little jobber!
I just love its size and color!
The chore was smiled on by the glow
of setting sun shining on the old tree trunk.
The effect in reality was much brighter than this!

  1. Your blog background is lovely, Rebecca and I know how stunning the light on the tree was for you! I often come across one lit-up tree, on my walks in the woods, and it's mesmerizing each time.

  3. Thanks, Wanda. I've had so much "fun" since I figured out that I can make backgrounds out of my own photos!

Cher, It's such a delight to have your frequent visits and affirmations.

  4. That's a really beautiful tree trunk-even without the sun. I was wondering what kind of tree is it?

  8. Gorgeous photos my friend, love the background, you're good! I guess the leaves will give you a job to do for a while...the most beautiful fall leaves! Thanks for your lovely visit and the full name is FABIOLA, the short is FABBY, originally a Roman Saint's name, but it's very used in Spain, and Spanish countries...the Queen of Belgium's name is like it, she's the sister of the actual King of Spain, lol! Lots of hugs. FABBY
